Alcendre Léopold
Member of the Executive Council
Is a businessman, entrepreneur (construction materials, real estate, and hotels), an agroforester, lawyer and member of the Grand’Anse Chamber of commerce. He has extensive experience in organizational strengthening and support. He is a member of the Executive Council and the Regional Coordinator of the Haiti Community Foundation (HCF-Espwa).
L'Hérisson Hilaire
Executive Director
is a professional agricultural engineer, specialist in plant production. L’Hérisson is the current Executive Director of the Haiti Community Foundation. Originally from Petit-Goâve (West Department), he joined the Foundation in November 2020.
Judith Laguerre
Member of the Executive Council
is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified geriatric nurse based currently in Cambridge, Massachusetts. With a career deeply rooted in service, she brings her expertise to various boards that drive community impact. As an active Human Rights Commissioner, Judith is driven by her affinity for health education and equity, striving to understand the intricate relationships between health and poverty. Her ultimate purpose is to advocate for transformative change, championing social justice and promoting inclusive healthcare for all with her dynamic approach and commitment to service.
François Chavenet

A CPAH, is a business leader and environmental advocate driving sustainable economic development in Grande-Anse. With expertise in finance and information systems, he heads CEGEC consulting firm. Committed to global responsibilities, he enhances environmental practices in municipalities and serves on various boards.
Caroline Hudicourt
Vice-President
school principal and university professor with an MA in education, is a civil society activist vice-president of HCF-Espwa. Determined to contribute to HCF-Espwa’s transformative choice of catalyzing local initiatives, she shares its successes representing it on the board of the “Grande Fondation Haïtienne” (GFH), consortium of influential Haitian foundations.
Roddy Denor
Member of the Executive Council
is a social justice advocate with a blend of experience in international development and community development. His work primarily focuses on improving lives and addressing challenges faced by economically disadvantaged individuals and under resourced communities. He has collaborated with numerous grassroots organizations serving incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals, migrant farmworkers, and detained immigrants.
Marie-Rose Romain Murphy
President
is the President of RMC-Romain Murphy Consulting, a nonprofit management and strategy firm that works internationally with a wide range of organizations from small grassroots local organizations to large $1 billion institutions working globally. She consistently serves as an effective “Partner for Community Change.” She has more than thirty years of experience and a strong track record in community development, human services, humanitarian projects, philanthropy, marketing, executive leadership, and social entrepreneurship. Her core interest is the creation of viable and sustainable pathways of development for low-income individuals, marginalized communities and developing countries.
